Race 15 - 6th in the Leo's Furniture
Fall Foliage 200 at Airborne |
Plattsburgh, NY - Yet another
flat tire turned what appeared to be a winning run into a sixth place finish. From an
eight place starting spot, Brent quickly moved to the front, taking the lead on lap
27. The #55 held the lead - sometimes by a full straightaway - until slowing with the
deflating tire and then spinning into the infleld on lap 148. Battling back after the pit
stop for fresh rubber, Brent worked through the field to 6th.

Race 12 Part 1 - Seekonk Speedway |
| Seekonk, MA - The Seekonk ACT
show was halted by rain on lap 58 with Brent in the lead. ACT has announced that the Tour
will return to Seekonk on Sept. 20th to complete the show.
Brent
started the evening off well by placing first in the 3rd of the 12 lap heats.
Brent had worked his machine from the 13th starting spot to third by lap 14 as light rain
began to pepper the 1/3-mile oval. Dragon took second on lap 32 and pulled alongside the
leader at the 40-circuit mark. The #55 took over the lead on lap 42.
The skies opened up just before 9 PM. After trying to keep the track dry for nearly 10
minutes, the cars were sent to the pit area to wait out the showers. Mother Nature,
however, failed to cooperate, forcing the remainder of the event to be tabled. Since the
race was 8 laps short of reaching the halfway point, which would have made it an official
event, it was determined that the $20,000 purse and $2,400 first place paycheck would be
doled out in a return visit. |

Race 7 - A Sixth at Oxford Plains
....clinches ACT first leg bonus |
Oxford, ME - A run to sixth in the
Maine-ly Action Sports 100
on Saturday June 12th put Brent with 628 points solidly in first ahead of cousin Scott

points standings at the 2003 half way mark pays $ 5,000.00. |

| Dragons Lead ACT Logjam Into Oxford Plains |
| Oxford, Me -
Brent and Scott Dragon, six points apart atop the tightly bunched ACT New England Dodge
Tour championship point standings, are headed to Oxford Plains Speedway this Saturday,
July 12 for a 100-lap battle that will decide who collects the winners share of the
Tours first-half point-fund payout.
Leading the
Tour at the end of the night will be worth $5,000. In addition, the ACT Dodge Tour 100 has
a posted purse of $20,950 that pays $2,000 to win. In each of ACTs previous
appearances at OPS, the winners check has stayed local. Ryan Moore won the 2001
event, then went on to win the track title. Ricky Rolfe followed suit last year, holding
off eventual ACT champion Phil Scott for the win.
Brent
Dragon, second to Moore in 2001, returns to Oxford Plains on a roll. Dragon put the
Leos Furniture/Kinney Drugs Dodge No. 55 in victory lane two weeks ago at Circuit
Ste-Croix, Quebec then took over the point lead from cousin Scott (538-532) with his win
Saturday at Waterford (CT) Speedbowl. Jean-Paul Cyr, like Brent Dragon a two-time winner
in 2003, is in third place (528), followed closely by Jamie Fisher (508) and Thunder Road
Memorial Day Classic winner Pete Fecteau (503). |
